FAQ
Heads or Tails Now FAQ covers randomness, speech, auto-flip, and limits for casual decisions.
Flipping and results
How do I flip once?
Press Flip coin. The on-screen label and live region report Heads or Tails when the flip is decided.
What does Speak result do?
When checked in Options, the browser speaks Heads or Tails using the selected Voice or browser default.
Can I flip on a timer?
Enable Auto-flip on timer, set Flip timer (seconds) between 1 and 60, and use Pause on the toolbar while auto-flip runs.
Do coin style and metal color change odds?
No. Coin type and Metal color are appearance only; they do not change the random draw.
Privacy and boundaries
How fair is each flip?
utility-core flipCoin() uses crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling for a fair heads-or-tails bit.
Is the artwork real currency?
No. Faces are stylized SVG—not replicas of legal tender.
Is there a best-of-three mode?
Not built in. Flip repeatedly and use Recent flips to recount if your house rules need multiple throws.
Publisher content and site quality
Why only one interactive coin page?
The homepage hosts the tool; scenario articles such as settling decisions or best-of-three house rules live on dedicated URLs with their own depth.
Are ads shown during animation?
Ads render only when the tool reports a stable idle state on the homepage after approval, never over Flip or during error overlays.
